Allister Malcolm an experienced glass artist, has been based within the Stourbridge area for over 10 years.

He now operates from Broadfield House Glass Museum as the resident Glass Artist.

An ever changing display of handmade pieces  and original designs may be viewed within his studio.

His studio is open to the public during the opening hours, (Wednesday – Sunday 12-4pm).

Anyone is welcome to see Allister at work during these hours demonstrating the art of glassmaking.glass maker 3 small

Hot glass Lecturer at the University of Wolverhampton

Commissioned to produce playwriting trophies.

Part time tutor at University of Wolverhampton.

2003                 Commissioned to design and produce the London Law Society Awards.

2002                 Creative Development Award by West Midlands Arts 2002.

2000-2008         Himley Hall: AM glass studio based .

2000-2003         Jonathan Harris Studio glass LTD. Glassmaker/demonstrator.

2000-2002         “The Open Mic Awards” sponsored by “The Daily Telegraph.”

1999-2000         Stuart Crystal’s Visitor centre. Demonstrating & as “Everglassting”

1998 Highly commended, “Most Innovative product” – Harrogate Trade Fair.

1998 Product designer for Dansk International.

1997-98 Part time tutor University of Central England, Ceramics and Glass.

1997                 Winner “New Designers in Business” competition sponsored by,

“The Foreign and Commonwealth Office.”

1997-99 Broadfield House Glass Museum Scholarship Occupant.

Glass festival in Holland, representing British glass.

1994-97                         Wolverhampton University BA (Hons) (Glass with Sculpture).

1993-94                         Doncaster College of Art (Foundation course in Art & Design). – Distinction
